The WEST GREENE SCHOOL DISTRICT SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of a new pump station, wet well and meter pit on West Greene School District property, approximately 5,735 lineal feet of 4 C900 pipe, 4,600 lineal feet of 2 HDPE pipe, 535 lineal feet of 1.25 HDPE pipe, air release and flushing stations for 2 and 4 pipe, bore and jacking of 290 lineal feet of 10 steel casing, bore and jacking of 200 lineal feet of 6 steel casing, horizontal drilling of approximately 235 lineal feet of 1.25, 2 and 4 pipe, connection to existing sanitary sewer system, removal of an existing treatment plant, pavement and site restoration, and other items, in accordance with the specifications and plans. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to CENTER TOWNSHIP. CENTER TOWNSHIP reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the WEST GREENE SCHOOL DISTRICT SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION project. Awarded bidder shall provide a 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, and 10% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by CENTER TOWNSHIP for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
