Site work for a water / sewer project in Elmira, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Two new watermains (-1.0km & 3.5km), gravity trunk sewer (-6 km), as well as upgrades for two existing wet wells (Airport Road and Otter Court) on the Region of Waterloo's Airport property, including forcemain connections to the new trunk sewer, located in the southern limits of the Township of Woolwich within the Regional Municipality of Waterloo's East Side Lands. The East Side Lands are bounded by Highway 7 to the north, the Grand River to the west, Shantz Station Rd/Speedsville Rd to the east, and Highway 8/Highway 401 to the south. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal for engineering services for detailed design and tendering has been awarded. Tender and construction are not anticipated prior to 2028. Further update summer 2026.
