Site work for a water / sewer project in Hornbeak, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of the following work: Install and connect approximately Owner provided 30 residential grinder pumping stations. For purposes of this Bid, approximately one half of the connections are assumed to require addition of a 20 amp breaker in the resident circuit breaker panel; approximately one half are assumed to require an additional panel mounted outdoors with the pump panel. This project is being supported with Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. The Town of Hornbeak hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Town of Hornbeak is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Any contract that uses federal funds to pay for construction work is a federally assisted construction contract and must include the equal opportunity clause found in 2 C.F.R. Part 200, unless otherwise stated in 41 C.F.R. Part 60. We encourage all small and minority owned forms and women's business enterprises to participate. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the Town of Hornbeak. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instruction to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from source other than the designated website. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the following Viewing Offices: Town of Hornbeak, 212 West Main Street, Hornbeak, TN 38232 Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. 117 Seaboard Lane, Suite E100, Franklin, TN 37067 online of Tennessee Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Viewing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am*4 pm. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. An electronic copy of the CONTRACT BID DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. at 117 Seaboard Lane, Suite E100, Franklin, TN 37067 upon a NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT OF $50.00 (Please reference CEC Project 332-389) Paper copies of the Plans and Specifications may be obtained from Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. at 117 Seaboard Lane, Suite E100, Franklin, TN 37067 upon a NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT OF $300.00 per each set. Question Deadline 10/07/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Send all questions by email to Ricky Oakley at roakley@cecinc.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. 1. Installation of Pressure Sewer Service Additions complete and in place for approximately 30 residential grinder pumping units.
