The Reelfoot Water Association will be soliciting bidsfor ARPA Water Line Replacement, located in Obion County, Tennessee. The ARPA Water Line Replacement is a utility improvements project with several functions for the Obion County, Tennessee community. The Project consists of replacing water lines with the highest historical number of leaks and replacing exposed pipe at the creek crossings that has been identified. All service connections will be replaced with new wrapping saddles to the proposed water lines. Existing water lines will be abandoned in place after new water line installations have been approved. This project is being supported American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of Reelfoot Water Association. Bids must be submitted with envelope label (provided in the bid documents) affixed to the front of the envelope.
