Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A preconstruction meeting will be scheduled with the low bidder after award. A prebid meeting will not be scheduled for this for this project. Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Palmer Engineering via email (ssewell@palmernet.com) or mail (400 Shopper Drive Winchester Ky 40392) and a response will be provided to all bidders. A 5% Bid Bond is required with the contractors bid. Questions about projects during the advertisement should be submitted in writing to the City Mayors office. This may be done by email to ssewell@palmernet.com. The City will attempt to answer all submitted questions. The City reserves the right not to answer if the question is not pertinent or does not aid in clarifying the project intent. The deadline for posting answers will be 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time, the day preceding the Letting. Questions may be submitted until this deadline with the understanding that the later a question is submitted, the less likely an answer will be able to be provided. The successful bidder will be required to provide a payment and performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. No BIDDER may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
