Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Seward, Alaska. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of October 7, 2025 no bids received for the project. The City of Seward Parks and Recreation Department seeks proposals from qualified contractors to furnish all materials, equipment and labor necessary to fabricate electrical boxes with water attachments that are uniform to the existing boxes in the municipal campground. The boxes will need connectivity to municipal electricity and water. Uniformity with industry standards is necessary as far as pressure outflow and electrical currents. Waterline must be 4 feet deep and the piping must be high density polyethylene; consistent with City of Seward Water Department standards. Boxes must be attached to an exposed four (4) foot treated 4x4, buried two (2) feet deep. Boxes must have outlets for 20amp, 30amp and 50amp. The awarded contractor will be responsible for site preparation, procurement of materials and construction. All water and electrical standards must be met to comply with industry and City of Seward standards. City of Seward reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts of thereof and to waive any information or irregularities in the proposals received, and to accept proposals deemed in the best interest of the City of Seward.
