As this is a constantly evoling situation, we will make any updates here on this SAM.gov posting. At least 1 more update will be made regarding this on Tuesday 10/14 where we should have definitive information on whether that plan has changed. An update will be made to this posting either confirming the Industry day or notifying everyone of the postponement. I apologize for the uncertainty/lack of clear direction. At this time the Industry Day though is still going to be held as planned. ***** UPDATE 10/9/25 ***** Please join us Thursday October 16, 2025, for an Industry Day/Pre-solicitation Conference hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District for the Sabre Fire Station Project, and the Staging/Marshalling Area Project both at Fort Campbell, KY. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, will host an Industry Day/Pre-solicitation Conference on October 16, 2025, for two separate design-build projects at Fort Campbell, KY: the Sabre Fire Station and the Marshall Staging Center. Each project will be solicited independently under a design-build to budget strategy. The Sabre Fire Station project involves constructing a non-standard one-company satellite fire station to serve the Sabre Airfield. The facility will include a kitchen and dining area, sleeping quarters, storage, training room, laundry, physical training room, latrines, and an apparatus room. Supporting infrastructure includes electrical systems, HVAC (approximately 15 tons), landscaping, site development, information systems, security systems for AT/FP, and a firetruck maintenance and cleaning area. The design will follow the Standard Army Design for ARFF Satellite Fire Stations, incorporating spaces for PPE gear storage, hose storage, SCBA maintenance and compressor rooms, protective clothing laundry, equipment wash/disinfection, work and equipment maintenance, EMS equipment storage, and fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance. The Marshall Staging Center project entails constructing an 8,000 SF Readiness Building with a 400x300 SF Deployment Readiness Line. The site will be fully paved with concrete, include fencing and lighting, and clearly marked readiness lines. It will serve as a staging area for vehicles and equipment pre-inspected for Air Force certification, ready for immediate aircraft loading. The facility will be designed for a minimum 40-year lifespan in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02), emphasizing energy efficiency and integrated building systems performance. Both projects have an estimated cost range between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 and fall under NAICS code 236220. Project 2: Marshall Staging Center at Fort Cambell, KY Construct a 8,000 SF Readiness Building with 400x300 SF Deployment Readiness Line to support Fort Campbell's Power Projection Platform. The total area will be paved with concrete, include fencing and lighting, and have Readiness Lines clearly identified. The paved area will be utilized to store vehicles and equipment that have been pre-inspected to meet Air Force certification that will be prepped and ready for aircraft loading on a moment's notice. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance.
