Constructing a Standard Design Barracks to accommodate 260 unaccompanied enlisted personnel, this project includes living and sleeping quarters, baths, storage, service areas, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, antiterrorism measures, Intrusion Detection System installation, and connection to Energy Monitoring Control Systems. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and utility connections, exterior lighting, paving, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided through self-contained systems for individual living units and a central system for common areas. Post Construction Award Services are required. Utility connections will be made to privatized electric distribution, natural gas, water, and wastewater systems. Work includes compliance with Department of Defense Minimum Antiterrorism standards, full interior design and furnishings support, accessibility for individuals with disabilities, cybersecurity measures, and sustainability features. Facilities must meet a 40-year minimum service life in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-02, including energy-efficient building envelope and integrated systems performance. Two buildings totaling 6,389 square feet at Fort Campbell, Kentucky will be demolished. Estimated air-conditioning capacity is 266 tons.
