Reference Number 0000420202 The work to be performed (Work) generally consists of the following: Construction of approximately 350 L.F. of 6.625" x 0.280", API-5L, X-52, Carboline Carbothane 134 HG-coated steel natural gas pipe to replace existing pipe that is supported by pipe hangers attached to East End Road Bridge at Fort Campbell. The Work includes installation of new pipe hangers on the bridge to support the pipe, removal and disposal of existing steel pipe, removal of pipe roller assemblies from existing pipe hangers, and leaving portion of pipe hangers for other utilities. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, tools and equipment, and perform all operations required to complete the Work satisfactorily, in place, as shown on the Drawings, as set out more fully in the Specifications, and in accordance with the Record of Environmental Consideration approval. The Project has an expected duration of 60 days to Substantial Completion after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and 90 days to readiness for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) 62-6-103 and 62-6-112. Bidders are required to provide evidence of compliance with TCA Title 62, Chapter 6 before any Bidder's Bid may be considered. Bidders will be required to submit a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Bidder's maximum Bid price in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Upon Contract award, the Successful Bidder must provide performance and payment bonds in accordance with the General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, at time of delivery of the executed Agreement to the Owner.
