Site work and paving for a civil project in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work includes construction and maintenance tasks at the Bulk Fueling Facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Requirements for the bulk tanks include constructing new drain inlets within the concrete containment dike, replacing the existing valve system with post eccentric plug valves and post indicators, cleaning corrosion and replacing bolt-on pipe support brackets, replacing threaded components, providing thermal relief on the water draw-off, providing grounding points for the tanks, installing a Flexible Membrane Liner on top of the concrete containment dike, and modifying existing handrails for the containment area. Work in the pumphouse includes mechanically cleaning and recoating the exterior, removing abandoned pipe penetrations, providing basket strainer drain valves and differential pressure gauges, removing visual flow indicators from air and thermal relief lines, replacing threaded components, repairing improper grounding of the portable switching station, replacing the pump's ground loop, repairing pump frame grounding, replacing interior and exterior lighting, providing pump grounding for the PRT pump, repairing containment electrical conduit, installing bollards, reconstructing the concrete pad and curbing for the emergency eyewash shower, and providing alarms and pump control valves. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
