Renovation of a fire / police facility in Mahwah, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,453-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The project involves the surface preparation and installation of Epoxy flooring at Mahwah Fire Co. #2 located at 60 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ. Principal items of work include cleaning and preparing approximately 4,453 square feet of existing flooring to install new Epoxy flooring. The work contemplated under this contract shall be completed in approximately 5 days from the start of work. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Documents and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form. The successful bidder must furnish the policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract. Bids must be accompanied, in the case of corporations not chartered in New Jersey, by proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder and clearly marked, “BID MTB #25-18 ENCLOSED – DO NOT OPEN” on the front of the envelope, or they will not be considered. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. All corporations and partnerships must comply with Chapter 33, of the P.L. of 1977, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days. The Township may reject all bids as per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and any bid that is non-responsive or submitted by a bidder that is not responsible. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
