Reference Number 0000303327 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/01 11:59:00 PM EDT The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions to provide professional engineering services to carry out Preliminary Design, Detail Design, Tender Documents and Construction Administration and Inspection for the North River Road Traffic & Transit Improvements The North River Road Traffic & Transit Improvements project involves infrastructure upgrades along North River Road. The scope includes the design and construction of active transportation facilities, transit infrastructure improvements, and traffic calming measures. Note that this project has been scoped through two charters which is bundled into one project and includes: Modifications at the North River Road & McArthur Avenue intersection, which will include a southbound cycle track, pedestrian accessibility improvements, and associated traffic signals upgrades New sidewalks and pedestrian refuge areas Painted cycling lanes and additional new pavement markings and signage Relocation and upgrades of OC Transpo bus stops Raised intersection at Donald Street Raised crosswalk at Queen Mary Street Speed hump between Queen Mary Street and Prince Albert Street Drainage modifications where existing infrastructure is impacted Adjacent reinstatements where needed Please refer to the project charters and reference documents for details.
