This is a Bridge Preservation Project for the Bridge Carrying Sr 315 Over Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad in Jenkins Township / Laflin Borough in Luzerne County, Pa. The Bridge is a 3-span, 242-foot-long Steel Stringer Bridge That Was Constructed in 1984. The Project Includes Type 3 Concrete Deck Repair With Application of a Ppc Overlay to the Bridge Deck, Replacing Bearings, Substructure Repairs, Zone Painting of Beams, Diaphragms and Bearings, Joint Repairs / Replacement, Sealing Cracks at Abutments and Piers, Debris Removal, and Bridge Cleaning. The Deck Repairs and Overlay Application is Expected to Be Completed Under Two Stages of Construction While Maintaining Two Lanes of Vehicular Traffic With Temporary Signals.
