2026 Road Work Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Program Question Deadline 10/14/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Bidders will provide written acknowledgment of each addendum issued with their submitted bid. Oral explanations will not be binding. No clarifications, interpretations or addenda shall be issued after 2:00 pm local time on 10/16/2025. Restriction Of Communication Any questions related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to Cliff Ruemmler, Purchasing Manager, at Purchase@wilmette.com. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the Village disqualifying the Bidder's bid. Confidentiality Bidders response, in its entirety, is subject to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act and no part of the Bidder's bid will be considered confidential by the Village. A bid bond is required. The Bidder shall provide and honor to the Village a one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship for the Lead Service Line Replacement Work including restoration from the date of acceptance by the Village for all Public Side work. The Bidder shall provide and honor to the Property Owner a one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship for the work including restoration from the date of acceptance by the Property Owner for all Private Side work. The warranty provided by the Bidder shall extend to any and all of the Bidder's subcontractors that performed any part of the Work or restoration. All restoration work shall be to an 'as similar condition' as prior to the work as evidence by photographs and/or video to be taken by the Village and/or Bidder. Any and all warranty claims for Private Side Work shall be referred directly to the Bidder and the Bidder shall in a timely manner review and respond to such claims. At no time shall the Village be responsible for any of the Private Side Work performed or provide any warranty to the Property Owner for Private Side Work.
