Install North American Green VMAX C350- Type A Seed & Mat 27 SY All proposals must be accompanied by an original bid bond or a certified check in the amount of not less than $4,440.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 366 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor, and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. The work herein provided shall be done under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications and as provided by law. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of THIRTY (30) days after date set for opening of bids. Sanitary and Improvement District 366 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities and Irregularities. The amount of the engineer's estimate of the cost of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, fiscal, legal, interest, and miscellaneous costs) is $88,800.00. The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of installing the construction entrance, straw wattle, curb inlet protection, and silt fence, clearing and grubbing, excavate, dry, and recompact silt or haul off, excavation on-site, haul-in, remove CMP riser and base, construct reinforced concrete pipe, concrete collar, area inlet, and rip-rap scour hole, adjust manhole to grade, adjust water valve to grade, install seed and mat, install sod, install signs, and necessary appurtenances for a completed improvement. The Contract's intent is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and all incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer will provide the Contractor one (1) complete copy of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall have this complete copy available on the work site at all times. The Engineer will provide six (6) copies of all plans,specifications, and addenda at no cost to the Contractor. The Engineer may furnish additional copies for a fee. 4.02 Alteration of Plans or Character of Work The Engineer reserves the right to alter the following: Contract item quantities; Construction details; or Roadway, sewer, structure, or facility grade or alignment. The improvements are to be paid for by issue of warrants of the District in accordance with the contract.
