Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The work includes the rehabilitation of the existing park, covering minor grading and restoration of the outfield grass at the current ballfield, and construction of a new batting tunnel, asphalt walkway, swing set installation, fencing, retaining walls, and landscaping. Principal items are: site clearing, installation of 4' and 8' high PVC coated steel chain-link fences, 7" thick hot mix asphalt sidewalks, concrete edge curbs, poured in place safety surface, swing set installation, batting tunnel system with synthetic turf surfacing, modular retaining wall, beam clay, and landscaping. The contract requires completion within 90 days. Bidders must submit bids using prescribed forms, including relevant affidavits and certifications, and provide a Consent of Surety along with a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of at least 10% of the bid (not exceeding $20,000). The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the accepted bid amount, necessary insurance, and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, including prevailing wage rates and equal employment opportunity regulations. All bids must be sealed, properly labeled, and irrevocable for 60 days unless otherwise agreed upon.
