Site work and paving for a road / highway in High Bridge, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade road / highway.

The project consists of one Base Bid and two Alternate Bids. The Base Bid includes improvements to Wilson Avenue from Washington Avenue to the Municipal Boundary, such as the removal of existing curb, construction and installation of new concrete curb and asphalt curb, installation of various drainage structures and 15" RCP pipe, asphalt driveway aprons, upgrading inlets with eco curb pieces and bicycle safe grates, replacement of beam guide rail, traffic marking lines and symbols, full-depth pavement repair, and HMA milling and paving. Alternate Bid 'A' involves additional drainage improvements to Wilson Avenue, specifically the installation of Type 'B' inlets, 15" RCP pipe, and concrete curbing, along with full-depth pavement repair. Alternate Bid 'B' includes full-depth reconstruction to widen the road, removal of stone retaining wall, installation of proposed modular block retaining wall, removal of hedges, planting of shrubs, and restoration. All work must be completed within forty-five calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be made on the standard forms included with the contract documents, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project name, and be addressed to the Borough of High Bridge. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a company authorized to do business in New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner, along with a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and to increase or decrease quantities as specified.
