Description

Paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

**As of November 17, 2025, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** Roof replacement at the Public Safety Complex located at 401 Main Street, West Newbury, MA 01985. Qualified contractors are to submit sealed bids for this project, as specified in the contract documents, including Scope of Work and Prevailing Wage sheets. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project IFB number and description. Questions from bidders must be submitted in writing by e-mail. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates and weekly payroll record submittal requirements under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid that is not in its best interest or to cancel the IFB entirely.
