The Jefferson Housing Authority issues this Invitation to submit information on Architectural/Engineering Services to design, inspect and coordinate work items for modernization work. Jefferson Housing Authority will award contracts renewable up to five years. Scope of Work: All work shall be in accordance with HUD Public Housing Comprehensive Improvement Assistance Program Handbook. To determine the Scope of Work, required work items and years may be obtained from the Jefferson Housing Authority. Work includes replacing HVAC units, upgrading/replacing minor electrical in apts. and rehabilitation of units including replacing exterior/interior doors and frames and water heaters, replacing ceilings, cabinets, flooring, etc. If you are interested, please respond with a letter of interest, a demonstration of understanding of the Modernization Program, evidence of Firm's ability to perform the work, evidence the Architect/Engineer is registered or licensed to perform the required services in the State of Texas and a certified statement that the Architect/Engineer or firm is not debarred, suspended or otherwise prohibited from professional practice by any Federal or State Agency. Also outline the following: 1. Professional/Technical competence and experience. 2. Capability to provide Professional services in a timely manner. 3. Knowledge of Building Codes. 4. Has Errors and Omissions Insurance Coverage. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
