Renovation of a residential development in Rhinebeck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Taconic DDSO is seeking a vendor to install a 30 KW generator and 200 Amp service entrance rated automatic transfer switch at the above residence as per the attached design documents. The DDSO shall provide the Generator, Transfer Switch, and a 500-gallon propane tank. The successful bidder shall provide all remaining materials and labor necessary to complete the work in a professional, code compliant manner. Please note that the design documents called for two concrete pads to be included; these pads have already been supplied by others and should not be included in your proposal. All other work shall be completed per the attached drawings and below scope of work. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Install a 200 Amp service entrance rated automatic transfer switch and 30 KW generator, to supply a whole house transfer upon loss of normal utility power. 2. Contractor is responsible for having underground utilities identified and marked out. Contractor will be responsible for any damage caused during excavation work. 3. All work is to be completed per the attached drawings and applicable Building and NEC codes, industry best standards, and manufacturer's instructions. 4. Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent or a designated Maintenance Supervisor. 5. All work must be warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work. A 3rd party inspection will be required for all electrical work, at the expense of the contractor. No payment will be made until a CCC is received from the 3rd party inspector. 6. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of debris created during project and for cleaning or repairing any part of the facility damaged during work. 7. Generator and Propane Tank Pads supplied by others. Propane lines to be supplied by others, up to the PRV at the generator. Final connection of the fuel line is the responsibility of the contractor.
