Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rhinebeck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work shall include but is not limited to: Contract #1E: This work consists of demolition and installation of electrical appurtenances for upgraded process equipment and instrumentation. This includes the mechanical bar screen and washer compactor unit, UV disinfection system, and the sand filter system. The work includes the addition of VFDs for various process equipment, the disconnection and reconnection of upgraded motors, and all incidental work related to the upgrade. The work shall also include replacement of existing electrical equipment such as disconnect switches, junction boxes, and site lighting fixtures. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The project is funded with state and federal funds and 20% MWBE utilization is required. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
