Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rhinebeck, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of removing existing stone dust pathways, saw-cutting and removing a portion of the asphalt within the existing parking area, removal and relocation of signs, constructing accessible stone dust pathways and two picnic areas, constructing accessible parking space and access aisle, pavement markings and installing concrete wheel stops. Bids shall be on a lump sum with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. A bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall include a 5% bid bond. The successful bidder will also be required to provide performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the value of the contract. The time period for holding Bids is 45 days after opening of Bids. This project is subject to New York State Prevailing Wage Rates, and a determination of the NYS Department of Labor has been attached. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.
