Project will be rebid in February 2026.** Tulare Union High School Auditorium Stage Lighting Project Tulare Joint Union High School District will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Tulare Union High School Auditorium Stage Lighting Project as per the Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications, which may be obtained electronically from the Architect. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct items after determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, which is based on the base bid. This contract is subject to prequalification according to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. The prevailing wage must be adhered to, and compliance monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations is required. Contractors and subcontractors must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work over $25,000 and must provide proof of registration. For such projects, each subcontractor performing more than 0.5% of the bid must have their public works contractor registration number listed. Bids must be sealed and submitted at the stated location before the deadline. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least 10% of the base bid. The selected contractor will also be required to provide Payment (Labor and Material) and Faithful Performance Bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum. Contractors must have a Class "B" license at the time of award and maintain it through completion and all applicable warranty periods.
