Furnishing the labor, materials, and equipment for the Village of New Miami Replacement of Water Valves This project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds and shall therefore follow Federal Labor Standards Provisions. General Contractors and Subcontractors performing work on this project shall be in good standing on the Ohio Department of Transportation's approved contractor listing for the type of work involved. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check upon a solvent bank for the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance properly secured by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract Any requests for such assistance must be made no later than 72 hours in advance of the bid opening, by contacting the Department of Development at (513) 785-5391. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any or all proposals, to accept the proposals valid for sixty (60) days from the bid opening. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Butler County Commissioners, Butler County Administration Center, 130 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be sent electronically with return receipt requested to all prospective bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under their bid as submitted.
