All material and equipment required performing all labor required for the following: CITY OF GALION - TREE TRIMMING AND REMOVAL FOR ELECTRIC LINE CLEARANCE. The work area is to be the entire southeast quadrant of the city, with South Market Street being the westernmost street and Harding Way East being the northernmost street. Also included is South Street to County Road 31/Hunter Road and East to the end of Galion's utility lines at 5077 County Road 31; 531 to 688 Jackson Road; all of Red Road; Millsboro Road to 7931 State Route 97, then south to 577 State Route 97. This includes pruning of trees by starting at a communication wire and removing trees and limbs that are within the 10-foot mandatory clear zone. Zone is to be kept going to the sky removing anything that is hanging over. Removals to consist of a tree that is within very close proximity to primary and after clearing there is no top remaining. Work is to be completed by end of calendar year 2025 unless otherwise approved by the Safety-Service Director. The City of Galion reserves the right to reject any and all bid/quotes; to waive and informalities or irregularities in the bids received; to purchase from multiple bidders on any award of less than $75,000 (subject to qualify of materials, needs, and availability) or at any time that the successful bidder is unable to furnish suitable services; and to award to the lowest and/or best bidder. Awards in excess of $4,999.00 require action by the City of Galion Board of Control. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "Tree Trimming and Removal."
