Site work and paving for a road / highway in Galion, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all material and equipment required and performing all labor required for the City of Galion - 2026 Street Improvements. Said improvements are to be done in accordance with plans and specifications available from the Engineer's office. Each bidder must provide a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project is to be completed by October 15, 2026. Contractors and subcontractors should, where practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal opportunity requirements is mandatory. The successful bidder will provide a surety bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. The minimum wage paid shall be as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked and signed by all interested parties. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will accept the lowest and best acceptable bid.
