Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dorneyville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required in order for a bid to be considered. Online sealed bids must be submitted through the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted. All documents and solicitation details are available online. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price must be included with the bid, and a performance bond of one hundred percent (100%) must be submitted within ten (10) days from bid acceptance. All work provided by the contractor must comply with the requirements of the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Transportation ARLE Grant contract #C920003073. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and prevailing wage rates are included in the bid documents. South Whitehall Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept either in whole or in part any one bid or combination of bids and to accept the bid which it determines in its best interests.
