Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Edmond, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

As of October 31, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Installation of a new +/- 195' monopole 3 carrier tower inside a 50' x 50' compound serviced with a 3-section exterior access temperature-controlled cabinet. Following the tower's completion, relocate AT&T, T-Mobile, and U-Central radio equipment to the new structure. Alternate one includes installation of owner provided camera to new structure. Alternate two involves demolition of 50' x 14' concrete block building and foundation 3' below grade. Alternate three requires provision of fiber for AT&T and T-Mobile connections. Once the new tower is operational, demolition and decommission existing 400' guyed tower, shelters, slabs and non-utilized fencing, including proper disposal of all equipment. Each bid must be accompanied by certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Such certified checks or bid bonds will be returned to all except the lowest bidder within seven (7) days after the bid opening, or, if no award has been made within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as the bidder has not been notified of the acceptance of their bid. The successful bidder, upon their failure or refusal to execute and deliver the Agreement for Construction and bonds required within fourteen (14) days after the bidder has received notice of the acceptance of their bid, shall forfeit to the Owner, as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with their bid and their bid will be rejected from further consideration. Last date and time to submit questions October 13th, 2025, 5:00PM CST Scope of Work: o Property Survey: Include 500' of access, legal description, 1A letter, and CAD file. o Geo-technical survey provided by UCO as part of this invitation to bid. o Photo Reference: 1. New Site Aerial o NEPA: FCC Form 620 submission and tribal consultation (if required). o ASR/FAA: ASR and FAA study and registration. o Provide professional engineering services and new site construction drawings, sealed by Oklahoma registered Professional Engineer for permitting by UCO authority having jurisdiction. o Provide examples of 3 similar projects located within the state of Oklahoma. o Provide (3) carrier +/- 195' monopole, anchor bolts, and safety climb system. o Install new 50' x 50' compound with triple bay temperature-controlled cabinet, tower foundation, tower ground ring, new 600A service to compound, fiber, backhaul, new tower, and site fence. o Triple Bay Temperature Controlled Cabinet: o Exterior Cabinet Dimensions: approximately 50"H x 90"W x 36"D o Outdoor enclosure, Front and Rear Door, 1 set -19 or 23 reversible adjustable racking rails, Electrical Outlet, 4000 BTU HVAC, 8 Space 100 Amp LC w/ 50 Amp Gen Plug, NEMA 4 Unlisted, ETL Listed to UL Standard 60950- 1/CSA 22.2C, 15 Year Warranty o Provide electrical connection to Edmond electric transformer approximately 150' from new enclosure (transformer to be provided by Edmond Electric). o Photo Reference: 1. New Site Aerial o Owner to provide UCO fiber connection to the section of the multi-bay equipment rack designated for UCO use. o Contractor to provide conduit for AT&T, T-Mobile and UCO. o UCO requirements: 2" or larger HPDE or PVC conduits the base of one section of the multi-bay equipment rack. These conduits should extend from the site west to a demark at least 10' outside of the pad. o Unused conduits should be capped underground and marked. o Move carrier equipment from existing tower to new tower: AT&T and T-Mobile. o Photo Reference: 2. Guyed Tower Equipment Location o Install owner furnished U-Central Radio equipment o Per FCC guidelines, the two bay antennas must be center-mounted at 164 feet, with a vertical separation of five feet. Accordingly, one antenna will be mounted at 161.5 feet and the other at 166.5 feet. Attached is a photo showing the current bay antennas being hoisted onto the campus tower in 2015. o Photo Reference: 3. U-Central Radio Equipment o Install site fence. o 8'tall chain length fence with 3 rows of barbed wire above with access gate around 50' x 50' compound. o Install (20) bollards for vehicle fence protection: 10 on west side and 10 on east side. o Heavy duty steel bollards filled with concrete. o Approximately 45" high. o Painted safety yellow.
