Reference Number 0000399251 Bid Intent Not Available This request is for a competitive RFP between a qualified contractor and Denver International Airport (DEN). The Scope of Work for this Contract shall be for task-order-based, on-call professional services related to projects within DEN Terminal Complex foundation areas, including, investigation of the existing conditions, design solutions for the structural elements: concrete walls, columns, pilasters, post-tensioned concrete floor systems at apron slabs, elevator pits, etc.; and non-structural elements: expansion joints, interior concrete masonry walls, door frames, etc. The driving need is the conditions in the basement areas across DEN are degrading due to heavy water intrusion and soil heaving. Damages to structural foundation elements have occurred and will continue to worsen if no remedial action is taken. A single On-Call Professional Services contract will allow DEC to release Task Orders for specific areas covering investigation and design efforts. A single service provider is preferred because it allows for continuity of services between areas. Knowledge gained from the investigation of a specific area will be applied directly to the development of repair solutions.
