Proposed construction activities include thin hot mix overlay of I-99, and mill/ overlay of East Freedom interchange. There will be minor guide rail upgrades, and replacement of high-tension cable median barrier. Signs will be updated, and pavement markings will be replaced to meet current standards. Scope of work for these structures are the replacement of the tooth dams with strip seals, a full paint to the existing steel superstructure, an epoxy overlay and minor substructure repairs. The contractor will be performing the construction activities. The use of railroad property will not be required. Construction activities will be contained within existing right-of-way.
