Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brooklyn, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for the painting of traffic control lines, crosswalks, stop bars, lines, etc. within the City of Brooklyn. Bids must be submitted on the required forms in a sealed envelope, hand delivered or mailed, and clearly marked with the project name and bidder contact information. Bidders must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per Sections 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, with the bond issued by a licensed Surety Company in Ohio. Proposals must include the full names of all parties submitting and interested in the proposal, and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable. Compliance with Ohio's equal employment opportunity requirements, the Governor's Executive Orders, and registration with the City is required. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined for public improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City of Brooklyn. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable.
