Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brooklyn, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor and materials for the 2026 Brooklyn Streets Program, in accordance with provided specifications. Each bidder must submit a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as required by Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, and the bond must be issued by a licensed Surety Company or Corporation in Ohio. Proposals must include the full names of all parties submitting and interested in the proposal, as well as evidence of experience on similarly sized and complex projects. All contractors and subcontractors are required, to the extent practicable, to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor, and must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements according to Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Orders of 1972 and 84-9. Contractors and sub-contractors must be registered with the city. Compliance with prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City of Brooklyn, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, is mandatory. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the project name and bidder contact information. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable.
