Interim Housing and Permanent Modular Classrooms at Mission Bay High School Under Public Contract Code 3400, the District has made a finding that the following particular materials, products, things, or services are designated by specific brand or trade name in order to match other products in use on the particular public improvement either completed or in the course of completion: DSA # 04-124272 Specification Section 03 30 00 Cast-In-Place-Concrete Specification Section 27 41 16 Integrated Audio Visual Systems and Equipment Specification Section 28 46 21.11 Addressable Fire-Alarm Systems The project estimate is between $5.3 million and $5.8 million, inclusive of allowances. This is a PSA project and requires prequalification. The District requires that Bidders possess any of the following classification(s) of California State Contractors License(s), valid and in good standing, at the time of bid opening and contract award: B, or other appropriate license, subject to District approval. The Bid and Contract Documents may be obtained free of charge at online The Work shall be conducted in 1 phase, with each phase substantially complete as indicated: 1. Phase 1: Construction of (1) 48x40 and (1) 24x40 portable buildings under PC #02-121341 and (4) ramps PC 04-122263, relocation of (5) 24x40 Portable buildings under A# 56121 & (3) 24x40 under A# 04-10047, moving existing storage containers to new location, and Site related upgrades. Work of this phase shall commence by 08/28/2025 and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy by 12/18/2025. If Bid and Contract Documents, including addenda, are returned intact and in good order to Crisp Imaging within ten (10) days of the issuance of the Final Bid Tabulation, the check will be returned. Each bid shall be in accordance with all terms, conditions, plans, specifications, drawings, and any other documents that comprise the bid package and shall be submitted on the bid forms provided online. Under Public Contract Code section 20111(b)(1), bids shall be accompanied by a satisfactory bid security in the form of either a bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company or a certified or cashier's check in favor of the San Diego Unified School District, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid value. Prime contractors or any subcontractor performing the license classifications of A, B [if performing the work of] C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 wishing to submit a bid to a bidding prime contractor must be prequalified in order to bid. Contractors must be a registered online vendor to complete the prequalification process. Completed applications must be submitted to the District no later than October 10, 2025, which is 10 business days before the bid opening due date. Any applications submitted later than this deadline will not be processed for this bid. Prevailing wage requirements apply to all public works projects and must be followed per Article 17 of the General Conditions of this bid. The applicable wage determination for this contract is 2025-2 and will be 2025-2 for the duration of the contract. This includes amendments, change orders, and warranty work relating to this contract number. Pursuant to a board-approved resolution, the Bidder is required to satisfy a minimum DVB participation percentage of at least three percent (3%) for this project. Bids may not be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the electronic opening of bids. During this time, bidders shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective bid submissions. A successful bidder shall not be relieved of the bid submitted without the District's consent or bidder's recourse to Public Contract Code 5100 et seq.
