Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, insurance, and incidentals required for the proper operation, removal, and disposal of waste materials from the Center. Services must be performed in a clean, safe, and timely manner, and in accordance with industry standards. Contractor will utilize Corporation-owned equipment as listed and be responsible for its maintenance and repair as specified. Maintenance reports and cleaning services are required on a regular schedule. Contractor will manage six separate waste streams (compacted solid waste, compostable food, wood pallets/clean wood, carpet and carpet pad, single stream recycling, construction/exhibit debris or waste), ensuring proper diversion and disposal according to the type of material. Contractor must provide on-call, daily, holiday, and weekend services as required, within specified response times, and is responsible for supplying additional containers as needed. Routine and special waste removal, including for zero waste events, is required. Monthly service, tonnage, and audit reports must be provided. Contractor must comply with all laws, maintain required licenses and insurance, cooperate with Corporation personnel, and adhere to all procedural and safety standards. Contractor must submit a completed bid form, company resume, qualifications, OSHA and safety records, a list of comparable previous accounts, and any clarifications or exceptions to requirements. All communications and bid submissions must follow instructions specified, with the bid to be held firm for a minimum of 90 days. Failure to provide all information or respond as required can result in bid rejection. Only one bid per firm will be considered. The Corporation reserves rights to reject, accept, or waive bids or bid parts as in its best interest. Proposals will be evaluated based on company experience, cost, ability to meet requirements, and potentially a shortlist interview.
