Reconstruction to Ithaca High School Beverly J Martin Elementary School Fall Creek Elementary School - Electrical Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as a registered plan holder. The Provider takes no responsibility for the completeness of Contract Documents obtained from other sources. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. Registered plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with Syracuse Blue Print Company for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. As bid security, each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders. Doc note: Complete hard copy sets of Bidding Documents, drawings and specifications, may be obtained online. Checks shall be made payable to Ithaca City School District in the sum of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars) for each set of documents. Mail checks to Syracuse Blue Print Co., Inc., 825 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13210. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs (either by providing FedEX/UPS account number or being charged a flat rate by the printer). The Owner requires Bids comply with bidding requirements indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may, at its discretion, waive informalities in Bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does it represent that it will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The Owner will not waive informalities which would give one Bidder substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all affected Bidders. Bids may not be withdrawn before 45 days following the Bid opening thereof, unless an error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. 1. Provide all labor, materials, facilities, equipment and services to thoroughly clean HVAC systems as shown on the drawings and as specified herein. The Cleaning work for each HVAC unit, system components, and associated ductwork include the following: a. Air Handling Unit(s) or Rooftop Unit(s): 1) Unit enclosure 2) Heating and cooling coils 3) Fan assembly 4) Condensate pan 5) Washable filters(replacement of existing disposable filters) and/or filtersection 6) Outside air and return air plenum(s) 7) Outside air intake(s) b. Supply and return ductwork, lined and unlined, including ductwork plenums, branches, risers, and similar components. c. Air terminal devices, i.e.supply diffusers, return registers, VAV control boxes, intake hoods including cooking hoods, and similar components. d. Exhaust duct system and associated registers. e. Exhaust and return fans. f. Fire and fire/smoke dampers. g. Mechanical Rooms h. Return air plenums i. As determined by assessment: Sanitization shall only be applied if active fungal growth isreasonably suspected, or where unacceptable levels of fungal contamination have been verified through testing. Only Sanitizers that have an EPA registration specific for application in HVAC systems should be utilized. The scope of work included advancing soil borings, pavement borings, and performing infiltration tests at the referenced sites. Exploration locations were selected by Tetra Tech. Depths of the borings were provided by Tetra Tech. Infiltration test depths were provided by Tetra Tech. Infiltration tests were performed in accordance with NYSDEC requirements. Plans showing the exploration locations prepared by Tetra Tech and edited by us are included in the Appendix. The scope of work at each site is as follows: Ithaca High School: 1. Two 60 ft borings and one 100 ft boring in area of possible addition 2. Three 20 ft borings 3. Six 10 ft borings 4. Two infiltration tests at a depth of 3 ft with offset boring to 5 ft at each Fall Creek: Three 20 ft borings Enfield: One 20 ft boring Northeast: Two 10 ft borings From the RFP provided by Tetra Tech, we have a limited knowledge of the proposed work at the different sites. Our knowledge of the proposed work is as follows: 1. Ithaca High school: Possible small building addition, new pavement, new plaza area, new lighting. 2. Fall Creek: Scope of work was not defined but may include upgrade of playgrounds. 3. Enfield: New entrance canopy. 4. Northeast: Replace existing retaining wall with tiered grading system.
