Renovation of an educational facility in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project will be a full replacement of the Chiller, along with the associated heat exchanger, the main building pump, and associated controls, located in the mechanical space of the northeast corner. The replacement of the old chiller shall be with a more efficient model with redundancy. The existing chiller serves cooling coils in air handling units AC-1 and AC-1A which serve Catherwood Library Archives which requires continuous reliable space conditioning. Refrigeration removal from the existing chiller will be done by Cornell. Questions should be directed to Facilities Contracts at 607-255-5343. Question Deadline 09/30/2025- Should a Bidder find discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings, Specifications and associated Bid Documents, or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the Architect, who will send written instructions to all bidders. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the Architect. Inquiries received seven (7) or more days prior to date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration. Work shall be completed within one hundred twenty five (125) calendar days after Owner's written Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid.
