Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mascoutah, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The selected firm will develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PSE) needed for the bidding and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Route 177 (Main Street) and South County Road for the City of Mascoutah, IL. The work will include land surveying, engineering design, cost estimates, community engagement, open houses, and outreach activities. Firms must have designed three similar projects within the last five years. The Statement of Qualifications should describe the firm's capabilities, emphasize its specialties and strengths, include a statement that indicates the firm's understanding of the project, provide information on key personnel assigned to the project, and include plans for three similar projects as requested in the qualifications. Previous work history with the City should also be included. Firms should not submit any verbal or written estimate of cost in terms of dollars, hours, or any other measure of compensation, and the letter of interest should be limited to no more than four pages. An interview or presentation will not be required for the firm selection.
