Renovation of a library in Newberg, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library.
The work consists of a refresh to the City of Newberg Library's public Womens Restroom and Men's Restroom. This task will involve demolition and removal of existing fixtures, and installation of new stall partitions, toilets, urinals, sinks, toilet roll holders, hand dryers, changing tables, and the drinking fountain between the two bathrooms. The 1980s flooring is currently brick, and the preferred approach is epoxy resin applied over the brick with integral cove base, including the area between the two bathrooms. Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional cashiers check, certified check, or surety bond of the bidder in the amount of ten percent (10%). The project is subject to the Oregon Prevailing Wage Rate Law. Question Deadline 10/16/2025 To Be Considered, Such Objections or Comments Must Be Received at Least Seven (7) Calendar Days Before the Bid Closing Date. Project Start Date November 14, 2025. Contractor Must Meet a Substantial Completion Date of January 30, 2025. The City of Newberg Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Formalities, and to Postpone the Award of the Contract for Sixty (60) Days.
