PURPOSE The purpose of this Unsealed Invitation for Bids is to solicit bids to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor to provide chiller inspection and maintenance services at the Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center in Richmond, Virginia. Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center would like to enter into a contract for one (1) year with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals. All inquiries must be submitted in writing via e-mail to cheri.lankford@dvs.virginia.gov. RENEWAL OF CONTRACT: This contract may be renewed by the Commonwealth upon written agreement of both parties for four (4) successive one (1) year periods, under the terms of the current contract, and at a reasonable time (approximately 90 days) prior to the expiration. BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD: Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 180 days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled.
