Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Utica, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

The work includes removing three (3) existing overhead garage doors and their hardware and replacing them with new ones at the MVWA's Maintenance Facility at 1620 Kemble Street, Utica, NY, as per the specifications. Bids are to be submitted only on the provided forms and only by persons who have obtained bid documents from the Mohawk Valley Water Authority and are registered on the list of bidders. The MVWA reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any and all bids. They may also reject any bid if the resources, financial standing, or experience of the bidder justifies such rejection in view of the work to be performed. The Board may revise or amend the bidding documents prior to the bid opening date. Bid packages must be sealed, marked, and addressed properly to the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, Engineering Department. Bids delivered by courier must be delivered to the Water Authority's Engineering Department, 3rd Floor Office. Any inquiries regarding specifications must be submitted in writing. No response will be given to inquiries received within three business days of the bid date. Remove and dispose of all existing doors and hardware. 2. Install one (1) 450U Micro Groove 18'2" Wide X 14'0" High White Foam-In Place Polyurethane TorsionTrack: 3 IN Thick Standard Lift 15R Torsion Additional Strut Qty: 7 each. Brand needs to be similar or like quality. 3. Install one (1) 450U Micro Groove 10'2" Wide X 18'0" High White Foam-In-Place Polyurethane TorsionTrack: 2 IN Thick Standard Lift 15R Torsion Additional Strut Qty: 9 each. Brand needs to be similar or like quality. 4. Install one (1) 450U Micro Groove 10'2" Wide X 18'0" High White Foam-In-Place Polyurethane TorsionTrack: 2 IN Thick Standard Lift 15R Torsion Additional Strut Qty: 9 each. Brand needs to be similar or like quality. 5. LiftMaster Trolly Operator, 1/2 HP 120/240V Single Phase, 240V 3 Phase Add to Favorite Parts TDC7S1BMC14CPSU - 14'Door Height - CPSU. Brand needs to be similar or like quality. 6. LiftMaster Jackshaft Operators, 1/2 HP 120/240V single-phase, 240V 3 Phase JDC7S1BMCCPSU. Brand needs to be similar or like quality. 7. The driveways, parking lot, and building entrances shall be protected from debris during construction. The Contractor is responsible for safely conducting its operations to protect the public using the building. The Contractor shall repair at its expense any damage caused by its operations. 8. During the progress of the Work, the Contractor shall conduct his operations and provide adequate pollution controls to minimize the creation and dispersion of noise, odors, dust, dirt, mud, and/or debris within and beyond the site. The Contractor shall protect the building from water intrusion during the project. 9. Perform final job site cleaning and remove all job debris from site 10. Provide written contractors' and manufacturers' warranties. Minimum warranty periods are as follows: a. Contractor's Warranty (All Labor and Materials): 1 year. b. Manufacturer's Limited Warranty (Door Opener and Accessories): 1 year. c. Manufacturer's Limited Warranty (Door Hardware): 1 year. d. Manufacturer's Limited Warranty (Door Sections): 10 years. 11. The contractor shall submit to the owner manufacturer's specifications on overhead garage door prior to purchase and installation.
