Renovation of a residential development in Salina, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
**As of October 21st, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** 1.Back Room (utility): Flooring paint is deteriorated - Install vinyl flooring (maintain accessibility to the basement) 2. Windows: 4 operable windows paint is deteriorated - Replace with vinyl windows. Scrape, clean, prime and paint 2 coats on interior trim and exterior trim Or Exterior metal wrap. 3.Windows: 7 inoperable windows paint is deteriorated Secure windows in place. Scrape, clean, prime and paint 2 coats on interior trim and exterior trim Or Exterior metal wrap . OR Replace with vinyl windows. Scrape, clean, prime and paint 2 coats on interior trim and exterior trim Or Exterior metal wrap. 4.Front and back door: Front and back door jambs and thresholds wood and paint is deteriorated - Replace front and back door, new trim and casing to match existing, clean and paint. 5.Soffits, Fascia, and Exterior Crown: Paint is deteriorated - Scrape, clean, prime and paint. 6.Foundation: East side of house and Northwest corner are settled - Install 5 piers, 2 or 3 beams and a CMU retaining wall. 7.Interior: Kitchen walls cracked plaster and paint is deteriorated. 6 cased openings throughout have deteriorated paint - Repair plaster, scrape, clean, prime and paint 2 coats on deteriorated surfaces. Use Lead-Safe Work Practices (LSWP) and Cleaning for Clearance. Any lead hazard identified in the Lead Assessment Report that is part of the scope of work must be completed. The City of Salina, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities therein.
