Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salina, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Salina Kansas is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified consulting firms for planning and engineering services to complete the roadway and bridge design for the two projects listed above. Written responses to this RFQ from interested consulting firms will list their qualifications to establish the final scope for each project and final designs. This RFQ is by open invitation and is being advertised to qualified consultant firms. The consultant engineering firm must indicate which projects they are interested in performing on the documents submitted. The City anticipates selecting a consultant based upon qualifications and experience but reserves the right to interview prospective consultants to expound on their qualifications at a later date. The specific scope of services agreement will be negotiated later. Proposals for each respective project will be evaluated in accordance with the City's Professional Services Selection Guidelines RFQ method. Any questions about the meaning or intent of the RFQ document, exhibits or related requirements must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager, not less than two days prior to the submittal deadline. Questions thus submitted will be answered by written addenda issued to all prospective firms who have obtained a copy of this RFQ from the City.
