SCOPE: Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is seeking competitive bids for wash bay epoxy replacement for the Salina Subarea (BD2-4041) located at 3825 Yost Drive Salina, KS 67401. A required pre-bid will be held on October 23, 2025, at 10:00a.m CST at 3825 Yost Drive Salina, KS 67401 JOB DESCRIPTION: The contractor is responsible for: _ Provide and install three (3) coat epoxy coating system to approximately 1,672 sq. ft. of flooring and approximately 2,632 sq. ft. of walls (appx 14' High on four (4) walls). _ Topcoat: must have a high wear chemical resistant urethane topcoat. _ Light Grey, Light Non-slip (on floor), approximately 33 mils thick. _ Prepare surfaces using a self-contained grinding- according to manufacturer's instructions (please provide manufacture name and information). _ Prefill minor surface irregularities i.e. holes, joints and cracks. _ Apply resinous coating system as/per manufacturer's instructions. KDOT RESPONSIBILITIES: KDOT will Remove all attachments from the wall. The person who will oversee this project will be Howard Reece. Contact information will be provided to the awarded vendor. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids no later than 1:45PM on the bid closing date to allow for system logging prior to closing. Proper review and complete response to all sections is required.
