Renovation of a municipal facility in Rome, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Floyd County Board of Commissioners are seeking qualified Contractors for the purpose of Exterior Renovations for the Floyd County Historic Courthouse. The scope of work would include but not limited to concrete work, masonry restoration, metal gratings, historic wood protection, painting and coatings Submit questions no later than 5:00 PM, October 20, 2025 All questions regarding this bid should be sent via Online or to Randy E. Self at randy.self@floydcountyga.org. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. A Payment & Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid will be requested from the winning submission within ten (10) days of the award. All bonds must be signed or countersigned by a Georgia Resident Agent. Floyd County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposal process. If no proposal substantially satisfies the specified goals as presented in this Request for Proposal, the County, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to call for new proposals.
