Site work and paving for a civil project in Wye Mills, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The County assumes no responsibility to notify bidders of incomplete or untimely bids. The Scope of Work includes the construction of a replacement wastewater treatment plant. The new plant will be constructed adjacent to the existing plant. The existing wastewater treatment plant is to remain in service for the duration of construction. The project scope also includes sewer system testing, pavement patching, cast in place concrete work, final seeding and stabilization for disturbed areas, final site cleanup and other items as described in the construction drawings and specifications. Written questions and comments regarding the Construction and Bid Submission Documents shall be directed to Josh Elliott, P.E. at the Talbot County Department of Public Works, 215 Bay Street, Suite #6, Easton, Maryland 21601, email: joshelliott@talbotcountymd.gov Written questions shall be received no later than Noon on Friday, October 17, 2025 in order that responses can be provided to all bidders in advance of the bid date. Contractors must also demonstrate good faith efforts to comply with the Maryland Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE). Information regarding the SRF and associated requirements is included in the bid documents. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, alternate. or any portions thereof when, in their judgment, the public will be better served.
