This project provides for the extension of two lanes along New Margaret Drive, the extension of Rockwood Lane to New Margaret Drive, the construction of a new roundabout at New Margaret Drive and Rockwood Lane, and the extension of water main and sanitary sewer along New Margaret Drive, as required by the Bidding Documents, the Agreement between the Owner and Contractor, the Indiana Department of Transportation Standard Specifications 2024 including the Supplemental Specifications, General Provisions, Special Provisions, and the applicable standards and specification for water and sanitary sewer construction in the City of Terre Haute Water and Sewer Utility, and the plans and specifications for the project. Submitted proposals shall include a bid amount which shall provide for all work to be performed, including all general construction, labor, material, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, service costs, etc. required for, and incidental to, completion of this project. Only proposals from contractors having a proven performance history through direct and recent construction experience with City of Terre Haute will be considered. Any proposals submitted by contractors not fulfilling these requirements will be returned unopened. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal and Itemized Proposal furnished to Bidders. All documents required in the Bidding Documents must be completed, executed and submitted, including Form No. 96, various affidavits, a certified check or Bid Bond equal to ten percent of the total bid amount, and acknowledgement of all addenda. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent of the Contract Price, are required from the successful bidder. All bids must be valid for 90 days from the bid opening date. The City of Terre Haute reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids. Question deadline October 8 2025 1 PM.
