Reference Number 0000325983 Defence Construction Canada, Halifax Heating & Municipal Services Upgrade (HHMSU), CFB Halifax, Halifax, Nova Scotia, IE002504 DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) is requesting Proposals from Design-Build Teams to design and construct the Halifax Heating and Municipal Services Upgrade (HHMSU) at CFB Halifax following a modified design-build approach. Additional details are provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents. Replace existing Central Heating Plants and associated infrastructure at Stadacona and HMC Dockyard; upgrade or replace underground municipal infrastructure, fire protection systems and electrical distribution systems; undertake energy efficiency retrofits; heat system conversions; building envelope upgrades; utility network improvements; and seven building upgrades, modifications or demolitions to reduce thermal and electrical demand. Includes design, options analysis, commissioning, municipal services upgrades, electrical grid improvements and phased construction implementation.
