Site work for a multi-residential development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development.
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region will receive sealed bids for the Townes at Carya Pond Infrastructure Development Project, a mixed-income, codeveloped community with Striver's Row, Inc. Habitat will manage site prep and land development; Strivers Row (a joint venture of Kingdom Development Partners and Harmon Construction) will handle home construction. The project consists of horizontal infrastructure for 72 townhomes located on an 8.34-acre site in the Hickory Grove area of Charlotte. Sitework includes clearing and grubbing, site demolition, sediment and erosion control, pre-cast underground retention system, site retaining wall, mass & fine grading, water and sewer, storm water, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, striping and signage, conduit, and landscaping. Subcontracting bids will be accepted for the packages listed in the Bid Package Manual. The under 80% portion of the project is partially funded with City of Charlotte Housing Trust Fund dollars and a potential award of federal Self Help Opportunity Program (SHOP) funds.
