Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lansing, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade, 70-room multi-residential development.
Sealed bids are requested for separate contracts covering Construction Work, HVAC Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work to renovate 70 bedroom units and harden walls at Finger Lakes Residential Center, 250 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the provided instructions and accompanied by a specified bid security. Successful bidders must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The estimated contract amounts are between $4,000,000 and $5,000,000 for Construction, between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for HVAC, between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for Plumbing, and between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 for Electrical. Overall participation goals are set at 30% for MWBE, with 15% each for MBE and WBE, and SDVOB goals at 6% for Construction and 3% each for the other trades. Bidders must comply with State Finance Law requirements regarding communications during the procurement process, and familiarize themselves with all requirements as stated. The substantial completion date is 588 days after approval by the Comptroller. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled and prospective bidders are encouraged to attend after scheduling in advance.
