Completed plans call for the demolition of a service station / car wash facility; for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.

including: demolition of the existing Salt Shed building, Seed Shed Building, Vehicle Storage Building, and Sign Shop Building; construction of a new Salt Shed, Vehicle Storage Building, Multi-Use Building (Sign Shop and Trades Building), Landscaping Building, and two (2) Truck Canopies; renovations to the existing Truck Wash Building; addition of solar panels to the existing Maintenance Utility Building; and associated site work. Foundations for the Salt Shed and Multi-Use Building are supported by piles. Site work includes two (2) new MGCL systems, relocation of the existing brine system, three (3) new gas services for the new buildings, a new 350 kW generator, three (3) level 2 EV charging stations, relocation and extension of electrical and IT/fiber optic infrastructure, and associated grading, paving, signing and striping. P500.855 also involves the demolition of the existing warehouse building at 262 Smith Street, Keasbey, New Jersey. The project requires multiple stages of construction to ensure continuous maintenance operations. The principal items of work include: Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5M76 Surface Course 3,657 Ton Furnishing Equipment for Driving Piles 1 Lump Sum Furnishing Concrete Filled 14in Steel Pipe Piles. 28,600 L.F. Driving Concrete Filled 14in Steel Pipe Piles 27,280 L.F. Site Electrical Work, Building No. 1 1 Lump Sum Building Electric Work 1 Lump Sum Building Mechanical Work 1 Lump Sum Building Architectural Work 1 Lump Sum Building Structural Work 1 Lump Sum Prospective Bidders may register via e-mail to Anthony Emma by 11:00 AM October 1, 2025 at emma@njta.com. The e-mail subject line should read, "Contract No. P500.855 Pre-Bid Presentation". Instructions related to the time of the presentation and other details regarding the presentation will be made available via e-mail by October 1, 2025. The presentation will be conducted on October 2, 2025. Bidders shall submit evidence of their current and valid assigned NJDPMC Classification and Rating to the Authority's Engineering Department no later than October 16, 2025. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime Contractor is a registered DVOB firm
